Newport House

This is the house David designed and finished for himself and his family in 2009. Using an existing factory that was incorporated into the house. It's make-up is approximately 75% recycled materials, using passive solar design principles and extensive water saving measures - these include grey-water treatment/reuse, storm water collection and reuse and water saving features throughout. This dwelling uses state of the art principles and techniques to achieve a high level of sustainability and design excellence; it is one of three houses built on the old factory site that is landscaped and conceived of as an intentional community.
